Ramsey Walloch – Accounting Associate I
Ramsey grew up in San Diego, CA and went to college online, studying accounting and received his Bachelor’s degree back in 2021.
He enjoys playing tabletop strategy games like Warhammer and Halo: Flashpoint and also likes building and painting; he goes to his local game shop a couple times a week to meet up with other people to play.
Ramsey’s work history has taken him all over the country in various roles as a mover, security, delivery driver and even water quality specialist at the San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld.
Ramsey worked for FLORES a bit while he was going to school and then came back after graduation to pursue the Accounting field. Currently he holds the position of Accounting Associate I and enjoys the work here very much, working remotely. He loves the culture of always trying to improve and better yourself while still celebrating the hard work put in along the way.
He feels accomplished when his inbox is empty! A great week is when he ensures all tasks are done before clocking out on Friday. He is taking this year’s Emerging Leaders program and has a future goal to work his way up to management. Ramsey wants to lead a team to success and drive the FLORES mission statement further into the future! He is excited to learn more, grow as an accountant and ready for the journey.
Most important to Ramsey, is his family. He has a beautiful wife and smart little stepson. They enjoy going on small adventures and about twice a year will visit family in Nevada. His wife is not only a partner but also his best friend who is very supportive and makes even mundane tasks enjoyable.
“Carpe Diem.” Ramsey likes this quote because every day can be what you make it. You just need to be intentional with what you do and how you act in the moment.
