Annie Lou Maybituin – Accounting Associate I
Annie Lou grew up in the Mira Mesa area. She went to high school there and then to San Diego State University, majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Accounting.
Outside of work, Annie Lou likes to spend her time outdoors – being active or going on road trips while her husband drives. Her favorite past time is thrift shopping as she could spend hours hunting for things even if she doesn’t really need them!
Her previous work experience includes various settings including law offices, medical offices, insurance companies and working in hospitality. She loves working at FLORES as what we do here feels like a culmination of the different things she’s had experience with. Annie Lou is currently an Accounting Associate I on the Grocery Team and helps with Vendor Setup in the Intacct system. She says it is a fun challenge every day getting all the incoming information organized, but it certainly makes the day go by quickly.
Alongside her husband, Annie Lou just welcomed her first baby in August! Her baby boy is healthy, growing and they are very happy. She has found parenthood to be everything everyone said it would be – some parts crazy rollercoaster, other parts beautiful moments, with hopefully some sleep in between.
Her favorite quote? “Do it right, do it now.” This is something her parents have always operated on, and it worked well for them, so Annie Lou tries to do it too. She feels accomplished when she simply does her best throughout the day – as you really can’t do more than your very best.
Looking ahead, Annie Lou has a professional goal to learn more about client management and grow her efficiency. Personally, she hopes to raise a nice human that is kind to others and if she’s lucky, likes exploring the outdoors too!
