Marrina Painter, Human Resources Coordinator
Marrina grew up in Coronado, Ca as a military child where her dad served in the Navy for 26 years. She studied Cosmetology at San Diego Community College, and worked in the food and retail industry, before interning at her parent’s business. Birds Eye Aerial Drones which are a veteran owned drone company and is the leading aerial drone service provider in San Diego.
Marrina was ready to take on a new challenge and grow in her professional life, so she enrolled in an HR course. This course partnered with Flores Financial Services, and she was hired as a JR Human Resource associate. In October she was promoted to Human Resources Coordinator! Marrina mentions that Flores has a great collaborative environment, and there are a lot of great opportunities for growth.
Her team members have been empowering her to grow every step of the way. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Gandhi
This quote reminds her to be an agent of change, to continually change her perspective so she may better understand. Setting goals beyond her typical job responsibilities, and achieving them, makes her feel accomplished.
Marrina is a bit of a dare devil; she enjoys taking her Polaris Ranger out into the San Andres Mountains and off roading with her friends each weekend. She also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her 3 fur babies, Basil, Eckhart and Bodhi.
Her future plans are to go back to school, get married someday, and travel to Bali before she has children and of course to continue to grow with the Flores.
