The first shop opened in University Heights, right next door to their sister company, Pop Pie Co. Stella Jean’s feels their ice cream evokes memories from childhood & certain experiences that people can connect to. The business was named after Stella Jean, a beloved dog, to keep her spirit alive. Fittingly, her favorite treat was ice cream, making the name all the more special.
Customers love the unique flavors- like Ube + Pandesal Toffee and Mango Sticky Rice. Other favorites on the menu are the Classic Double Chocolate and S’mores ice cream. Regulars appreciate the vegan and gluten free options and Stella Jean’s efforts to keep their community at the heart of everything they do.
This is definitely the place for unique flavors, and they recommend you try a sample before you choose! The employees are always welcoming and extremely friendly. So even if the line is long, it’s worth it!
