Updated Safety and Health Protections on the Job Posting Now Available

Cal/OSHA recently issued an update to its required “Safety and Health Protection on the Job” Notice. The Notice provides employees with information about employer safety obligations and employees’ rights, such as reporting unsafe working conditions or requesting Cal/OSHA safety inspections for unsafe conditions. Revised April 2026.*

What Should I Do Next?

Employers may print and post the updated notice, which should be in a conspicuous location. If you purchased an all-in-one Labor Law poster, you may print out the updated notice and post it beside your poster. Employers must post at least one Notice at each physical location where business is conducted or where services or industrial operations are performed.

*The Notice also includes the addresses and telephone numbers of Cal/OSHA’s division offices throughout the State. The April 2026 version makes minor changes, such as providing updated addresses for the San Francisco and Santa Barbara offices.

Notice in English: Safety and Health Protection on the Job

Notice in Spanish: PROTECCIÓN DE SEGURIDAD Y SALUD EN EL TRABAJO
