April MillerHuman Resources Manager
April’s primary motivation is to inspire growth and passion in others. Her Bachelor’s degree focused on education and writing, and after teaching middle school for several years, she transitioned to Human Resources. She received her Master’s in Business Administration in 2021 and has worked in payroll and HR for nearly six years. Prior to joining FLORES, she was the Director of Operations at a payroll service bureau, managing the accounting, HR, and daily operations for a 14-person team serving hundreds of small businesses in the San Diego area. She proudly specializes in employee training and development, performance management, business operations, benefits administration, and payroll, and is pursuing a certificate in Human Resources Management at UC San Diego. In her spare time she displays her “nerd” side playing trading card games, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons.
