  • Send the employee home immediately.
  • They should be advised to self-monitor conditions away from the workplace, and or seek attention from a state or local health care provider for a diagnosis.
  • Employees who seek medical attention and are requiring time off, should provide a written certification stating that they are infected with, or suspected of being infected with Covid-19.
  • They should be encouraged to file for Disability Insurance.
