Meet Justin Cessna, Accounting Manager
Justin Cessna grew up in a small town in East Central Illinois called Potomac. Growing up, he was a standout baseball and basketball player, but a career-ending injury on his senior year forced Justin to start thinking about life outside of sports. His parents helped him open a restaurant in his hometown that he ran for two years before deciding to move to California.
In California, Justin decided to finish his college degree, while working as a bartender. In August of 2016, he was hired by Flores Financial as an Accounting Associate, and in 2017, he graduated from National University with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He worked in restaurants for more than 12 years before starting at Flores. His experience in the hospitality industry gave him a unique perspective on the accounting side, allowing Justin to understand exactly what his clients were going through. Since taking on his role at Flores, Justin has had the opportunity to take on more responsibility which has allowed him to grow professionally, becoming an Accounting Manager in January of 2018.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and their amazing 3-year-old daughter, Juliana. They love to take their daughter to the Zoo, SeaWorld, or the Children’s Museum. When they can find the time, he and his wife always try to go to a restaurant that they have never been to. Justin is the second of four children and is close with his parents who live in Illinois running a consignment shop.
