Employee Spotlight-Sandy Hayman #1

Sandy grew up in San Diego and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Mount Miguel High School and then from Pacific Coast College with honors in Accounting. She loves to travel in her Motor Home, go off-roading in the dessert with their jeep, kayaking, hiking & going to the casino. She started working when she was only twelve years old as a door-to-door newspaper sales representative and was the top seller in San Diego. Sandy continued working different jobs until she had her first child then took one year off and after that is when she started to work for this company, but it was under a different name and owner at that time. She started from the bottom, filing and doing miscellaneous tasks, and worked her way up to an AA2 position. She has now been with the company for 33 ½ years. Sandy is so proud of how Greg and Michelle have grown the company over the years. When she started, there were about 6-8 employees and now we are over 100 employees. She really enjoys working with FLORES because we are all about family and so is she. Sandy has two beautiful granddaughters that she enjoys spending time with every weekend, they are 18 months and 4 years old. She is looking forward to the future, when she can retire with her husband and spend more time with her grandchildren. Sandy plans on traveling to every state in the US when she retires. Her favorite quote is, “There is no such thing as a dumb question, but there can be a dumb answer.”
