Debbie Daniels- Human Resources Auditor

Debbie has lived in East San Diego County all her life. She enjoys the many things that, So Cal has to offer from the ocean to the mountains to the desert! She attended school at Granite Hills High School and Grossmont JC and then transferred to California Lutheran University where she completed her Bachelors in Liberal Arts and received her teaching credential. Debbie has enjoyed using her credential by teaching many adult and kids classes. She’s taught bible studies and home schooled her children. However, she left the public school system as she wasn’t happy with the way the school system was changing.

At this point, Debbie went back into the business world. She assisted her husband as owner of a trucking company for 10 years. After this time, she joined the public workforce doing mostly accounting and payroll. She eventually ended up at FLORES almost 8 years ago. At FLORES, Debbie started in Accounting doing both accounting and payroll duties. After the Covid “break”, she returned to FLORES and joined the HR/Payroll team. She has since taken on a new position as HR Auditor. Debbie handles Payroll and HR duties for her clients as well as management of workman comp, 401K and any other types of audits that come her way. She loves working at FLORES as she feels it is a great family style community where good values and work ethics are appreciated.

Debbie’s main joy is her family. Her main goal in life is to enjoy family time. She also enjoys gardening and painting when she can find the time and has also been known to do a lot of DIY projects around the house. Debbie has been married to her husband Dennis for 38 years and they enjoy their large family. They have 9 children that have been born into their family or incorporated through the years. They did foster care for about 15 years. Four of those ten children that they kept long term still claim them as mom and dad. From these 9 children, Debbie and her husband have 22 grandchildren and 3.5 great grandchildren. Yep…another on the way.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-8. This quote has taught Debbie that one should not allow themselves to worry about things, especially things out of control. You need to hang on with a trusting attitude and leave it with God and see how it plays out. This gives one peace throughout the storms. Debbie feels accomplished when she see the goodness in one of her children, when she sees her plants flourishing, and when her clients feel that they are in good hands. Then she knows she has done her best work.
