San Diego Restaurants Can Officially Reopen!

Empty restaurant interior while coronavirus pandemic, no people, soft sofas with pillows, copy space, panorama

San Diego Restaurant Owners

As you are aware by now Governor Newsom and the State of CA formally approved San Diego’s Variance Attestation which allows San Diego County to accelerate through stage 2 and thus allowing restaurants to reopen for dine-in service effective immediately. I know this is welcomed news for many as the past 9 weeks have been beyond challenging and the ones ahead still fare to be trying one as well but we are moving forward. As you prepare to re-open please be aware of the requirements and guidelines. We have attached the documents as well as copied the links below as provided by the CRA last night.

Prior to opening your dining room to the public, you must adhere to the requirements of the public health measures issued by the State of California and San Diego County found in the links below:

  1. State Guidance for Dine-in Restaurants
  2. San Diego Safe Onsite Dining Plan

Additionally, you will be required to implement all measures found in San Diego Operating Protocol Checklist and post signage found in the San Diego Safe Dining Posters prior to reopening for dine-in.

  1. San Diego Restaurant Operating Protocol (Must print, sign & post)
  2. San Diego Safe Dining Posters (Must print & post)

If you have any questions please let us know, we are here to help as we can. Please also communicate with your FLORES team on your plans for re-opening so that we can be prepared to fully support your accounting and HR needs during this new challenge of re-opening safely and in compliance.

Sincerely,

Greg Flores & Michelle Flores-Gonzales
