Roxy Iglesias – HR/Payroll Manager
Roxy grew up in Riverside County, CA but has been a San Diego resident since 2004. She graduated from Poway High School and attended Utah State University.
Like many in the HR field – it was not her original career choice. Roxy spent many years in customer service, then landed an HR position over 10 years ago and never looked back. She started at FLORES about 7 months ago, where she puts her customer service skills, HR experience and Payroll expertise into use. She has found a fantastic alignment with her skills in keeping operations smooth and legally compliant. As a HR/Payroll Manager here, Roxy’s favorite aspects of the company are the emphasis on collaboration and the flexibility to maintain a healthy and robust work-life balance. She enjoys working with clients in different areas and leading a team of unique and talented individuals.
Outside of work, Roxy loves unwinding with a good podcast; she’s completely hooked on true crime. At home, a lot of her free time is spent baking, reading/listening to audiobooks or watching true crime. She loves to stay active either at the gym or with her kids out walking, hiking, playing games or shopping. Roxy’s closest circle (family and pets) means the world to her. On any given weekend they can be found at the gym together, at the soccer fields or checking out the local hole-in-the-wall restaurant or food truck.
