Heather Baillargeon- Executive Administrative Assistant
Heather was born and raised in San Diego and has been here her entire life, except for a short period of time when she lived in Texas (and loved it!). She initially went to college to study Music Education, as she wanted to become a middle school music teacher. Life had other plans, and instead she focused on working full-time for many years at various restaurants and retail stores before getting married and focusing on raising her family. In 2022, Heather returned to school and was the top student in the Spring 2022 Office Professional Training Program at Grossmont College. The specialized skills she learned and updated in the program allowed her to become proficient and qualified to begin her new career.
Ten days after graduating from the OPT program, Heather began her role as Executive Administrative Assistant here at FLORES, working directly with our Director of FLORES Human Resources. She immensely enjoys being so involved in our FLORES Team. Her favorite part of being at FLORES is getting to plan the team mixers and events and making the team feel connected #FLORESFamily! Each day, Heather feels challenged to learn more and do more and she feels accomplished when she can take over a new task and streamline it to better serve our team and clients.
Heather and her family are excited to have welcomed their new addition this past November, a baby boy, and feel so complete with their little family. She enjoys going on fun adventures with her husband and children, including visits to Disneyland, SeaWorld, Birch Aquarium, the SD Zoo, and tons of trips to the park. Heather has been an avid Disney fan her entire life, and has an extensive collection of Pocahontas pins, dolls, and other vintage collectables. She even created her own set of Disney fantasy pins of all of the Disney Princesses! In her spare time, Heather enjoys reading- she recently completed reading the entire series of Bridgerton novels!
The quote that resounds most with Heather is, “Onward and Upward,” and she says it almost daily. She believes that you can do anything when you maintain a positive mindset and focus on moving on and moving up. Heather is celebrating her 2 year work anniversary with FLORES this month. She is excited to see where her future at FLORES leads her and looks forward to all of the opportunities to come.
